The medical gyroscope
is a training device that allows the users to perform active, free, three-dimensional movements beyond the normal vertical position. This is a unique feature that distinguishes the gyroscope from all other training or therapeutic devices. It is the only therapeutic system in the world that enables active movement in all planes of space.
The device generates three-axis low-amplitude straightening reactions in the user that cause reflexive activity of the autochthonous back muscles.
In the gyroscope, angular accelerations can be created, which form the optimal constellation of stimuli for the peripheral vestibular system (arcs). This treatment effectively supports the rehabilitation process of patients presenting with dizziness.
